Vietnam: Day 3
01/20/24
Today we flew to Phu Quoc, it's an island off the south part of Vietnam close to Cambodia. We are staying at a 5-star resort with private villas. Below is Kian modeling the suite.
We had lunch at the resort and then rented motorbikes to try and see the cable car. Sadly, it had closed right before we had arrived. Instead we walked around the area it is. The place feels like Disney world since everything is new but made to look like historic European architecture.
We went to the kissing bridge which you can see in the video. It's two bridges that meet but don't touch, you can lean over and kiss the other person though. After wandering we drove to dinner, I found a locals favorite spot. It's a seafood restaurant literally on the beach. We got lots of food and sang karaoke which the locals loved. No one spoke English so we had to google translate everything we ordered. Kian's parents loved that we went to a local spot. The road in was on a narrow alley and the beach had lots of restaurants but we were at the most popular.
